Tapestri is a band sparked by a chance meeting between Welsh singer-songwriter Lowri Evans and Sera Zyborska at Festival Interceltique de Lorient in the summer of 2019. Fuelled by their passion for Roots and Americana music and the desire to form a bilingual female-fronted band, they have carved out songs that take their musical colours from a broad palette that includes Americana, Roots, Folk and Country and sing in harmony from the heart.

Sera and Lowri have been performing as solo artists for a number of years, performing across Wales, the UK and internationally and played on national and international radio. But this collaboration presents a united front and takes their creativity to another level.

Between them they have been championed on BBC Radio 6 Music, Radio 2, performed everywhere from Greenmail, Underneath the Stars and Festival Number 6; from Wales to Europe to America.

As a newly formed ban and based at opposite ends of Wales, (Sera on Anglesey and Lowri in Pembrokeshire) the pair continued to develop their vision for Tapestry throughout the pandemic.

As multi-instrumentalists, Lowri and Sera have a special connection that has grown through the songs they have written and the vision they have for Tapestry and women in music. They were inspired by The Highwomen, the US 'supergroup' featuring Brandi Carlile and Amanda Shires. who formed as a response to the lack of representation of women artists on country music radio and festivals.

They have since released 2 singles which have been playlist on BBC Radio Wales, performed at Focus Wales and Between the Trees in 2021 and were selected to represent Wales in the first ever Global Music Match. They will also be playing the main stage at Cambridge Folk Festival this year.

Support for the tour comes from Eve Goodman.

From the joy of swimming in lakes and finding her voice, to letting her tears be washed away by the sea, her songs are are bound by theme of human experiences, and our relationship to the wildness within us.

Eve has released three EPs to date; her most recent in 2021, Wave Upon Wave, is a collection of songs dedicated to our oceans. She is currently recording her debut album. With a captivating and unflinching honesty, the album is a deeply personal meditation on loss. Eve shines her light on bottomless grief and unanswered questions; despite it all, these delicate & raw songs give us hope, and take us on a journey towards finding joy again. The album will be released in 2022.

From living rooms and campfires, to The Houses of Parliament and Festival Interceltique, Eve's captivating stage presence is a gift she carries with her wherever she goes.
