Marianne Ryan is a dedicated professional painter and art tutor. With three art degrees and over 30 art courses under her belt, she’s delighted to be planning drawing and painting courses for 2020 - some in Hay on Wye, some further afield in Malvern, and some in sunny Italy in the summer.
Classes on the 23rd and 30th Jan are free of charge as an introductory offer, then classes are £12 per person. Marianne's classes are suitable for beginners and anyone wanting to gain confidence or hone their skills.
Marianne has sold many paintings through London galleries and is now happy to spend time teaching as well as making her own work. She lives in the Golden Valley and says, 'I'm lucky to be surrounded by beautiful countryside, which is often a starting point for my own work. I'm a passionate believer in the traditional skills of drawing and painting, so being an art tutor gives me the perfect opportunity to share some of my enthusiasm - my first few drawing sessions will be focusing on basic drawing skills - they’ll be plenty of fun, with lots of advice and encouragement - come along and see how you get on!
Philosophy Cafe is an informal group which offers the chance to discuss philosophical issues. Whether you're an expert on Cartesian dualism or you simply have a new found interest in philosophical thought, come along! The club runs every other Thursday. For more info contact: email@example.com
