What's the story of your business? 
Meet other creative individuals, share stories and ideas, or work quietly - it's up to you.
Simply turn up on the day, with your laptop or notebook, to be part of this free community event. It's for local businesses, freelancers, writers, photographers, people working from home, creatives, makers and more.
Work alongside other local people, chat and meet other creative individuals or work quietly in a cosy corner. Bring your laptop, sketchbook, notepad or whatever you need to get a few hours of work done in a friendly, cafe environment.
*Cost? Free - just bring a little cash for your tea or coffee and cake from The Globe's lovely cafe/bar.

Desert Island Picks: Dame Jacqueline Wilson with Jasper Fforde

Jacqueline Wilson is one of Britain’s bestselling children’s author and has written over 100 books. She has created characters such as Tracy Beaker and Hetty Feather which have been turned into successful television and stage productions. More than forty million copies of her books have been sold. Jacqueline was made a Dame in 2008 and was the Children’s Laureate over the Queen’s Jubilee period. More importantly than this she has been coming to Hay for nearly forty years and has an incredible collection of over twenty thousand books. On Friday 5th April she will share with us her eight Desert Island Discs and the eight books she would have to have on the Island. Jasper Fforde Has written the very successful Thursday Next series and has just returned from touring the United States with his latest novel ‘Early Riser’.

Tickets are limited and unusually Jacqueline has agreed to sign copies of her books after the event.
