Greenpeace Stories

Come and listen to some amazing Greenpeace stories and learn why we are working so hard to protect our oceans.
We have two guest speakers; oceans campaigner Richard Page will share his experiences using images from the Greenpeace archive and bring us right up to date with the current efforts to create a global network of ocean sanctuaries. Anthony Perrett was facing years in a Russian prison following the dramatic boarding and arrest of the Arctic Sunrise after Greenpeace tried to prevent drilling in the Arctic Ocean. After an international outcry and 2 months in Russian cells, the Arctic 30 as they became known, were eventually freed. Anthony has many more stories to tell about actions home and abroad.
