Tangled Up In Dylan
Steve Page writes and perform some of the best Americana being performed in the UK today. For the past two years, he has performed his tribute to Nobel Laureate Bob Dylan, Tangled up in Dylan with his band the Open Secrets. Now he will be playing the songs of the world’s greatest living songwriter in the most sensitive and intimate way possible armed only with a guitar and harmonica.
Best known as front man or Americana band the Open Secrets, Steve Page released his solo album The Age of Plenty in 2011 to critical acclaim on both sides of the Atlantic. The alt.country forum described it as a “warm emotional dream album”. Two years later he formed the Open Secrets. Their debut album earned comparisons with the Old Crow Medicine Show from FATEA magazine. “Rain upon the sea” was released in 2015. R2 (Rock n’ Reel) Magazine called Rain upon the sea “simply marvellous”.
